the hotel has a beautiful location. the walk to the cathedral is short. my room featured a comfortable bed and a generously sized shower. the car park was easy to access and provided ample space..
i noticed a slight delay in receiving some basic information upon check-in.

the location had a great view overlooking the water. walking to the city center took only about fifteen minutes. the breakfast was very good (especially the cooked options).
parking was limited. finding a space required a ten minute walk. it was not ideal carrying heavy bags.

The staff was super friendly and helpful throughout my stay. tracy allowed me an early check-in (it was very convenient), and karl. breakfast started early due to a sporting event. They opened up early, turned on the tv, and served my breakfast.
the sink in the bathroom was quite small, a bit hard to use.

the building has an amazing history. the staff was friendly. the location was perfect with a quick walk into town. the beds were super clean
i found that the parking is very limited. i learned that the nearest available parking is a 10 minute walk away. i was told this isn't ideal when carrying bags. i could hear everything in other rooms that are above me because the building is old.

The staff were pleasant and they worked hard so we were comfortable.
The room lacked basic information. There was no Wi-Fi code, restaurant menu, or kitchen timings. I stayed on the 3rd floor, and I had to go up and downstairs twice just to find basic information. This information is normally found in a little folder. I was very disappointed.

shower issuesinsufficient tea
The bathroom was a major letdown. the shower temperature was difficult to adjust. It was either scalding hot or freezing cold. the extractor fan also ran constantly. i found only one earl grey tea bag and one fruit tea bag, not sufficient.
